Talk about when it snowed heavily

 

I remember when it snowed a lot last winter. It snowed over the weekend and continued to snow until Monday morning. We got  at least 15cm of snow. It was one of the heaviest snowfalls that year. Of course, the streets got very slippery with snow. People came out to clean the snow in front of their houses. People trouble getting around because it was very slippery. Traffic was bumper-to-bumper in many areas. There were many fender-bender as cars slipped on the snow. It got worse in the evening as snow turned into ice.  It was quite hard to move around until the snow melted.

TOPIC : FIRST SNOW  첫눈


 

Talk about how Korean feel when it snows for the first time.


The first snow for the winter is a big deal in Korea. People genarally make a big fuss about the first snow. Peopele

tend to get a bit sentimental when it snows for the first time. They make sure to mark the occasion. They message

or call thier loved ones to let them know of  the first snow. People who are single tend to get the urge to go out

with someone when they see the snow. The first snow dosen't always pile up, but the sight of the snow just

makes people excited. People tend to have a lot of pleasant memories of the first snow.

TOPIC : MOBILE BANKING  모바일 뱅킹


Talk about mobile banking.


Most people make use of mobile banking these days. It's the easiest way to do banking since you can take

care of your bussiness on the move. You first have to download your bank's mobile banking app on your

phone. You also have to download a digital certificate onto your phone. And then, you need your passwords

and an OTP. An OTP is a small device that generates a new six-digit password every minute. It is short for "one

time password". You can check your balance or wire transfer money very easily using mobile banking. I think

mobile banking has had a huge impact on how people do banking.

TOPIC : MOBILE CHATTING 모바일 채팅


Talk about mobile chatting.


I rarely send text messages these days. Instead, I used a messaging app called Kakao Talk to chat with other people. It is one of the most-used chatting apps in Korea. These are tons of emojis i can use to express myself. Some emojis are free, but you have to buy most of them. Plus, i can share pictures and vidio clips on the app. You can also send digital gift vouchers to people. Next, I am in many group chatrooms. Some chatrooms are personal and some are work-related. Group chatrooms can get annoying sometimes if too many messages come up. So, I turn off the alert for most group chatrooms.

TOPIC : 야구경기관람 GO TO A BASEBALL GAME

 

Talk about when you went to a baseball game.

 

I am pretty big fans of baseball. I go to baseball games whenever i have the chance.  The last time i went was

a few weeks ago. It was a big game between two big rival teams; the Doosan Bears and the LG Twins. Both

teams represent Seoul and have a long rivalry going on. As always, the game got heated up. There was

cheerleaders on each team who led the cheering. The fans of both teams used stick ballons to root for their

teams. The Bears led the game up until the 8th inning, but the Twins turned the game around in the last

inning and won 7 to 5. It was one of the most exciting games I've watced in my life.
